We are publishing blind peer reviewed international monthly journal " Disaster Advances" (Impact Factor 0.692) regularly from January 2008 in field of Natural Disasters, Man-Made Disasters, Earth Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences, Geo Sciences , Marine Sciences and Engineering. You can access the journal at our website www.disasterjournal.net and www.shankargargh.net
We are now online from July 2012 and we are not bringing out print edition any more. For submitting the papers online, please access our website www.shankargargh.net.
We are pleased to inform you that our journal "Disaster Advances" is having SCI Impact Factor 0.692 (Year 2011-0.692; Year 2010-0.407 and Year 2009-0.138) and our journal is indexed in the following:
1. Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCIE) including the Web of Science

3. Geobase (Elsevier)
4. SCOPUS
As you know Disasters are threat to existence of earth and human beings, therefore we wish to have your guidance, research papers and contributions for the journal. We request you to send your research papers, articles and review papers online for publication in the journal "Disaster Advances" at your earliest. All papers received by us are sent to two experts for their comments and if both the experts approve, then the paper will be published. All the authors and co-authors should preferably be members of the Journal "Disaster Advances". We have Membership of three categories- Fellow, Life and Annual. Details are given in the heading membership at our website. Membership is to promote the journal and research in related fields. Those who do not want to be member can submit processing fees. Authors are welcome to submit the manuscript even without membership at discretion of editorial board.
Eminent Professors and Researchers in the field of disasters related areas are requested to send their C.V. to us for appointment as Member of Editorial Board. We wish that all the members of Editorial Board should be our Fellow members.

2nd DPTM-2012 (2nd International Disaster Prevention Technology and Management Conference) was organized successfully from 9th September 2012 to 10th September 2012 at Chengdu, China in association with Chongqing University, Chongqing, China and Xihua University, Chengdu, China. More than 500 papers were received for 2nd DPTM-2012. 3rd DPTM will be held in year 2014. Date and venue will be announced soon.
We have organized our First International Disaster Prevention Technology and Management Conference (DPTM – 2010) at Chongqing, P.R.CHINA from 23rd Oct 2010 to 25th Oct 2010 in collaboration with Chongqing University, CHINA.
Please participate in conference and send your papers / abstracts / posters on themes related to natural disasters, man made disaster, mining disasters, industry disasters and environment disasters at your earliest. Full papers accepted for conference will be published in regular issue of our SCIE indexed journal "Disaster Advances".
We have organized successfully conferences ICCE ( International Congress of Chemistry and Environment ) ICCE-2001, ICCE-2005 in India; third conference ICCE-2007 in Kuwait. 4th conference ICCE-2009 was held in Thailand. 5th ICCE 2011 was held at Malaysia from 27th to 29th may 2011 to celebrate 2011 as International Year of Chemistry. 6th ICCE-2013 will be held at Antwerp, Belgium from 8th July to 10th July 2013 in association with University of Antwerp, Belgium.
First international biotechnology conference ISBT-2008 was held at Gangtok, Sikkim, India from 28th Dec. to 30th Dec.2008. 2nd ISBT 2013 will be held at Antwerp, Belgium from from 8th July to 10th July 2013.
We are establishing "Environmental Disasters Research Institute" at INDIA to reduce sufferings from Natural Disasters, to decrease the amount of damage caused by disasters, to make people aware and to respond promptly in the aftermath of disasters. The task is great and therefore we request you to cooperate and help us in achieving our goal. One can not be a silent witness to these disasters and you should come ahead to donate for establishing this institute.
We also request you to recommend our journal for manuscripts to staff members and your colleagues.

Please click the menu "Instructions to Authors" and latest issue of our journals for format and style of papers. Please see that manuscript submitted by you is as per our standard format and as per Instructions to Authors.
Then select the journal where you wish to submit your paper for example "Disaster Advances" and then go to menu "paper submission". Follow the instructions and you can upload your paper online. It is a must to agree to terms and conditions of declaration given there.
Then go to menu "paper received" and you will find your paper there. Please see that all entries are correct otherwise submit again. In case you find any problem in uploading, please send your paper at papershankargargh@gmail.com Please mention the name of the journal for which you wish to submit the manuscript.
Please see that you submit processing fees or membership subscription ( fellow or life or annual ) along with membership form within 10 days otherwise it will not be possible for us to process your manuscript. Your manuscript will be sent for blind review to two experts anywhere in the world and their decision will be final and binding. Please note that membership subscription or processing fees will not be returned by us whether your manuscript is accepted or rejected by the experts. Decision of experts will be informed within a month of receipt of membership subscription or processing fees. If your manuscript is accepted, it will be published soon in coming issues. If your manuscript is rejected, you will be permitted to submit to another journal. Every Life or Fellow member must receive receipt of payment and membership number.
